In 1963 my dad had to go to Madrid on business. I asked him to see if he could find a shop called Ramirez. A few weeks later I was holding a brand new Jose Ramirez flamenco guitar in my hands! He paid $200. Its worth a bit more today! That's when I really got serious about learning flamenco guitar. I am planning on getting back into flemenco this year.

This is a real flamenco guitar. The wood is spruce from spain [very rare these days]. The guitar is so light you wouldn't believe it, and that makes it very loud.
